Cookie Policy
A short policy for a small site — what we store in your browser, why, and how to change your mind.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar browser storage let a website remember small pieces of information between visits. This site uses them sparingly — there is no advertising on entrychoicegate.site and no third-party tracking pixels.
2. What we store
- hm_cookie_choice (local storage) — records whether you accepted or declined cookies, so the banner does not keep asking. Duration: until you clear browser storage.
- Preference cookies — if you accept, small cookies may remember display preferences such as language. Duration: up to 12 months.
- Anonymous usage measurement — if you accept, we may count page visits in aggregate to understand which pages help guests most. No cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles.
3. Strictly necessary storage
Your consent choice itself is stored regardless of which button you press — it cannot work any other way. This storage is strictly necessary and does not identify you.
4. Third-party content
The embedded map on our Contact page is served by Google Maps. When you load that page, Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Declining our cookies does not affect the map, but you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.
5. Managing your choice
- Use the cookie banner when it appears — Accept or Decline.
- To change your choice later, clear site storage in your browser settings; the banner will return on your next visit.
- Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely. The site remains fully usable with cookies disabled.
